As a Logistics Sales Executive you will prospect, meet in person and close shipping/receiving accounts in the Chicagoland area. You will start with a book of company accounts to grow while prospecting and closing new business. All leads provided by Trifecta Transport. TMS System Integrations: 

Sticky customers and consistent residual commission for you.

Trifecta can integrate with any customer system (EDI/API) which keeps them for the   long haul. Whether they want rates, booking, tracking, accounting/freight bill auditing or online marketplace solutions like Shopify to ship their online orders with no touch. These customers are the largest and stickiest. We are currently integrated with a truck parts company with a $7,000,000 annual spend as well as a packaging company with 7 locations nationwide all on the GTZShip platform both acquired via the local branches.




  • Present and sell logistics services to new and existing customers
  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long- term success
  • Develop positive relationships with clients
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs with a well versed operations team behind you
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Coordinate online and onsite meetings of key decision makers; attend on-site demos and meetings as required


Performance Objectives:

  • Market-based Selling: Learn our value proposition and be in a position to effectively present these solutions using cost-benefit analysis. Also, present a solution based on the current transportation market, and develop a detailed analysis of customer needs in challenging areas and lanes.
  • Your book of business: Take the lead in coordinating the development of all customer proposals. Present and negotiate all rates, fees, terms, and conditions with the customer.
  • Account Management: Manage accounts within your book of business focusing on retention and upselling.



  • Previous experience in logistics sales, operations or customer service.
  • Familiarity with using a CRM
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Excellent phone presence, and effective interpersonal communication skills
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Detail oriented
  • Comfortable talking & meeting with all types of customers whether C-Level or Warehouse staff.
